The Cooperative Haat at the Global Cooperative Conference

31 Oct 2024

Cooperatives Build Prosperity for All is the theme of the ICA Global Cooperative Conference 2024 in New Delhi in November - and one place delegates will be able to witness how cooperatives thrive is at the Cooperative Haat.

Haat is the Hindi word for ‘marketplace’, and at the conference will take the form of an exhibition of 50 cooperative enterprises within Bharat Mandapam, the conference venue. It will be a space that is open all week for cooperators to meet, share and learn from each other.

If you would like to be one of the 50 exhibitors, let us know. Booking has been extended to 8 November!

Each space is a 9m squared cube with space for your logos and branding, lights, one table and two chairs. Additional services, such as plasma screens, extra tables and chairs, can be arranged at costs payable directly to the booth curators. What’s more, each booking comes with one free all-access pass.

As you can imagine, we have already received a large amount of interest in the booths, so get in touch soon if you would like to secure a spot and feature your organisation. There is also the possibility of reserving more than one booth and arranging conjoined stalls, should you require a larger space.

“The Global Cooperative Conference is the single biggest multi-continental cooperative event bringing together cooperatives and mutuals, federations and national apex bodies and I am very much looking forward to meeting with the movement,” said ICA Director-General, Jeroen Douglas.

“The Haat will be an important part of this, showcasing the excellent work and diverse products and stories of cooperatives from throughout the world.”
