This issue of the Review, dedicated to the memory of the late Canadian co-operative historian and educator Ian MacPherson, features research by new and emerging scholars. It is the first academic peer reviewed issue of the Review and reinforces the commitment by the Committee for Co-operative Research to nurture and support students and young researchers in pursuing co-operative studies. The articles in this issue shed light on a variety of co-operative enterprises, from co-operative financial institutions in Italy and Cyprus to consumer food co-ops in Canada, and from worker co-ops in Argentina to agricultural co-operatives in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
